This summer, the Amsterdamse Bos will once again be transformed into the most atmospheric open-air theater in the Netherlands. During the concert series Live At Amsterdamse Bos, you will enjoy intimate performances by top international artists and national talent, with the rustling trees as a natural backdrop.

Whether you come for the dreamy sounds of Agnes Obel, the powerful voice of LP, or one of the many other artists; an evening at the Bostheater is an experience you won't soon forget.

909 Festival – Amsterdamse Bos – 6&7 juni

Want to experience true Amsterdam coziness? On July 3, 4 and 5, 2026, De Amsterdamse Zomer returns to the Olympic Stadium. In a short time, this festival has become a household name: for a weekend, you can enjoy the greatest Dutch artists, delicious food and a casual atmosphere.

Led by hosts and hostesses who know the city inside out, the stadium transforms into a large terrace with an impressive main stage.

When most people leave town, the gates of ARTIS Amsterdam Royal Zoo actually open extra long. During the Summer Nights (every Saturday in July and August), the zoo stays open until the sun goes down.

It's much more than just animal viewing; the entire zoo turns into a festival area full of music and atmosphere.

What makes it so special?

• Picnicking among the animals: Guests may bring their own rug and picnic basket to eat among the monumental trees and flowering flower beds, while zebras and giraffes walk by in the background.
• Live music: On the famous music field, emerging Dutch talents and singer-songwriters will perform.
• Special behavior: It is a unique opportunity to see what the animals do when night falls. Some animals become active just then, while others seek their roost.
• Children's activities: For little guests, there are special scavenger hunts and storytellers who share stories about nature.

This summer, Amsterdam will be the beating heart of the world. From July 25 to August 8, 2026, WorldPride will descend on the city. It is an extra special edition of the famous Pride, where visitors from all corners of the world come together to celebrate freedom, diversity and love.

What to expect.

• The legendary Canal Parade: On Saturday, Aug. 1, the most colorful boats pass through Amsterdam's canals. A spectacle you must have seen once in a lifetime!
• Festivals & Concerts: From Museumplein to Dam Square; all over the city you will find free street festivals, performances and cultural exhibitions.
• Pride Park: Also in the Vondelpark there are numerous sports and game activities and performances for young and old.
